Issues before using Timesheet Xpress...

As with hundreds of research facilities, the Institute is required to keep accurate data on resources used during projects. Typically this process was carried out using paper based time sheets, then over time; these were “migrated” to Excel based timesheets. The big problem here was trying to get accurate figures regarding resource use per project was very difficult when trying to formulate reports; particularly if more than one person worked on an aspect of the project which is being recorded.

Since using Timesheet Xpress

Now that all staff are recording time using Timesheet Xpress, details are “standardised”, even something as simple as the same acronyms being used for projects is a great help.

“Now it is easy to get an overview about the status quo of a project, I would say it saves at least two or more hours per month on time analysis and reporting. The software is very easy to use” says Guenter Emberger.
